When the levée broke thru

3 March - 9 March, 2006

Crucially three things have become the way I the last 25 years, namely binge drinking, white plastic garden furniture (containing the empty livers of dead souls) and blurbs.

These latter came into being with the express purpose of shielding the dumb from enquiring minds and to said end to make use of post-structuralist, post-industrial, post-feminist, post-analytic, post-Marxist theories, as a kind of intellectual climbing frame.

I would say though that it’s still just a rocks off thing and a time thing that’s why there’s a when in the title not forgetting the signifiers always over-determined hence some reference to a song by Led Zep implying spiritual homelessness as well as also some kind of emotional pent-upness and its aftermath and general sense of obscurity and fluidity and a knowing critique of phallic polycentrism.
